Exceptional Blade quality

We have chosen 4.2mm (thickness) L4528 (Stainless steel) for the blade material as it is well known for its extreme toughness and edge retention. Together with our meticulous heat treatment and tempering process we are able to achieve a hardness of +-60 RHC. This results in a blade that holds it sharpness for much longer.

Blade finish

We have selected a Flat grind for this blade where after it has been hand sanded to a 5000 Grid high satin finish. Finishing the blade off with a Apple seed edge to ensure it is ready when you are 

Handle material

For the Handle material we have selected American desert iron wood (Olneya Tesota). This is one of the hardest woods in the world and with it's superior strength and durability this wood is ideal for Knife handles. While doing a hidden tang fitment on this unique piece we have also added a Bronze guard with G10 and Tambotie wood (Spirostachys africana) spacers. Finally securing all together with a Bronze pin.   

Hand crafted sheath

The Sheath is hand crafted from +- 3.3 mm Gr A Veg tan leather which can easily be worn on your side. Comfort was the main aim during the crafting process
