Exceptional Blade quality

We have chosen 4.2mm (thickness) L4528 (Stainless steel) for the blade material as it is well known for its extreme toughness and edge retention. Together with our meticulous heat treatment and tempering process we are able to achieve a hardness of +-60 RHC. This results in a blade that holds it sharpness for much longer.

Blade finish

We have selected a Hollow grind for this blade where after it has been hand sanded to a 800 Grid satin finish. Finishing the blade off with a Apple seed edge to ensure it is ready when you are 

Handle material

For the Handle material we have selected Kiaat wood (Pterocarpus Angolensis). This wood is renowned for its strenght and durability which makes it perfect for Knife handles. While doing a hidden tang fitment on this unique piece we have also added a Copper guard adding to the vintage look. Finally securing all together with a Stainless steel pin.   

Hand crafted sheath

The Sheath is hand crafted from +- 3.3 mm Gr A Veg tan leather which can easily be worn on your side. Comfort was the main aim during the crafting process
